For the fourth year in a row, I will not be drinking a sip of alcohol during the month of October.
There are a few reasons for this:
- It’s refreshing to take a break from putting poison in my body.
- It makes it easier to crush it in my other health arenas: diet, exercise, sleep.
- Waking up well-rested and without a hangover is one of my passions.
- Even though I don’t drink all the time, it’s nice to prove to myself I truly don’t need or crave it.
I’m always excited to start.
And now, each year I’m adding an extra month of no drinking. This year it was January. Next year, it’ll be three months.
